Mission: Respond to the need for emergency management and disaster recovery planning for all business entities, both private and public, by developing and delivering programs that will enhance the awareness and preparedness of those who participate. The Training Committee enlists the support of industry and emergency management experts, following standards set by PPBI, government agencies, and industry, to deliver the highest quality training available in a cost-effective manner.

Mr. Ziev brings 22 years of professional risk management experience developing and implementing large complex business continuity, disaster recovery, and strategic planning projects and bringing them to fruition.  Business continuity management and consulting has been the focus for the last 17 years.  Projects have included strategic and tactical planning, developing and implementing business continuity programs, risk assessment and business impact analysis, disaster recovery strategy development and planning, data center construction and relocation, network and security design, HIPAA and SOX compliance implementation, and many others.

Mr. Ziev uses his excellent management and communication skills to facilitate working sessions with senior management to develop strategic and tactical plans that align corporate goals and priorities with BC/DR program requirements.  He has also developed and implemented training and awareness programs to engrain business continuity practices into the organizational culture.  His energy and enthusiasm instills confidence in others at all levels of an organization and motivates them towards success.

Mr. Ziev has demonstrated his commitment to the business continuity discipline by continually engaging himself in active roles within professional business continuity organizations.  He was one of the founding members of his local ACP chapter, served two consecutive terms on the DRJ editorial advisory board, and was a member of the IBM BCRS customer advisory board.
